- The TurboExpress has an active matrix LCD screen, similar to the
- Sony color handheld TVs. This will give you the best image.

- The Atari Lynx and the Sega Game Gear use a passive matrix screen
- which is backlit. Not as good, but quite acceptable.

- One reason why the TurboExpress was more expensive when it was
- released was the screen. WHan you look at Sony LCD TVs, they are
- quite more expensive (and have better quality picture) than the
- Casio TVs (which use a passive matrix). Plus, the TurboExpress is
- essentially a handheld TurboGrafx, where the GameGear is hardly a
- Genesis.
