  11. I've been reading this board for about a month after having been away for a
  12. year, and wondered: has anyone been maintaining a Talisman FAQ (Frequently
  13. Asked Questions)?  If not, I'd like to start one; I've got facilities here for
  14. posting it periodically, and making it available via anonymous FTP and via a
  15. mail archive server.

  17. The things it would cover are:
  18.   - Real FAQs (questions that keep recurring)
  19.   - Interpretations of ambiguities in the rules and on the cards.
  20.   - Comments on strengths, weakneses, and playing strategies for particular
  21.     characters (e.g. Dwarf can try to go for quick win via craft route).
  22.   - House rules (e.g. what people do about the constant spell-casting via
  23.     "always have spell" characters).
  24.   - New characters and cards people have developed.
  25.  
  26. If you like this idea (and if there's no current FAQ), please e-mail your
  27. suggestions for contents to dalamb@qucis.queensu.ca.  Unless someone points
  28. out an existing FAQ, I plan to put together my current collection of Talisman
  29. interpretations etc., plus all the contributions y'all send, sometime in
  30. mid-January.
