- A House Divided and Wiz War are both really simple and fun. AHD is Civil
- War srategy at a beer and Pretzels level and Wiz War is silly fantasy.
- Shanghai Trader is another good one, with similarities to both Monopoly and
- Junta.
- Britannia is a sweeping look at a millenium of history in the British Isles
- and would count. The Buck Rogers boardgame from TSR is another to look at.
