- I've been scratching my brain over this one, can't find a listing in the
- usual sources, and no one else seems to remember it.
-
- Back in about 1965 I saw a movie whose premise was the Israeli war of
- indepnednce against the British and Arabs. The key point was it followed
- some illegal immigrants arriving hidden in shipping cartons.
-
- I'm -pretty sure- one actress was Sophia Loren, but none of the references
- cite her. The scene I recall was her being removed from a large wooden
- shipping container which she shared with ?tractor parts? (to hide her).
- There was another person in there with her, but when our primary actress
- is helped to her feet, she says something like: "don't bother with her,
- she's been dead for a week"
-
- Sorry I can't recall much more.... ANy hints greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks
- Danny
