  22. Really thrilling movie. It's one of these "The-next-time-you-watch-it-you-
  23. will-see-it-all-from-a-different-perspective"-films (Like "Angel Heart" or
  24. "Siesta" or "Crying Game"!!!). I almost died in the cinema seat at one 
  25. special scene. Hm, don't wonna tell you too much.

  27. Liam "Darkman" Neeson plays an (irish?) private investigator in the late 50ies,
  28. in England, Wintertime. Aaron (Neeson) earns his money in helping some men to
  29. "accelerate" their divorce-lawsuits (Illegaly, you see). At this time you
  30. needed only an affair, witnesses and photos included of course. The meetings
  31. are arranged by Aaron himself, but one day, his wife and one of his 
  32. clients (a rich painter) are found dead in a hotelroom. Of course, he gets
  33. suspected of being the murderer and that's where the title comes from.
  34. Dogged he traces the case himself: against Angeline (Laura San Giacomo),
  35. the rich artist's maitresse. At the same time, however, he get's under her
  36. spell, becomes her lover.

  38. Splendid properties, extravagant costumes, tremendous sets at the stormy
  39. coast of Seabath Brigton, nice lady, thick atmosphere, incessant tension
  40. and a surprising ending - everything a good beer..er...good thriller needs!

  42. If you like Liam Neeson, you'll like this film. IMHO his best role besides
  43. Darkman. The story - detectiv falls in love with the (most probable) murde-
  44. ress - has been showed by many representatives of this genre before, by 
  45. Billy Wilder, Hitchcock, from "Final Analysis" to Verhoevens "Basic Instinct"
  46. ...but I liked this one very much. (Director: Simon Moore).
