- I got Gibbon as it came out, complete Dickens too, and Jane Austen. As you
- say, nicely printed and bound; though I find many of the illustrators
- boring. Couple of good Woodhouse's though as I recall. Couldn't resist
- the four Wilkie Collins, so I'm back in the fold for now. I think
- alternate years might be the best tactic, then you get bribed to
- rejoin.

- Sorry about the nappies, still its got compensations if you live long
- enough. Dan produced 3 or 4 books this year that I enjoyed reading and
- would otherwise have missed. That's a profound pleasure.
