- Hello. I need a little help. I am trying to find a substitute for
- the incredibly expensive protein/carb drink powders currently occupying
- shelf space at GNC's all over the country. I would like this substitute
- to be high in protein and complex carbs, and it should be in powdered form,
- easily mixable with water. Other than that, don't want to try to duplicate any
- of the other attributes of the commercial powders.
-
- So far, the best I have been able to come up with is a mixure of nonfat
- powdered milk, whole wheat flour, cocoa, and sugar. It's palatable, if you
- don't mind the bitterness of whole wheat. Any suggestions?
