- Firstly, thanks to everyone who replied to my last posting a couple of weeks
- ago about alternative biceps exercises. I meant to reply to everyone
- individually but basically I'm a total louse and never got round to it. OTOH
- I have taken all the advice to heart and my wrists haven't given me any
- serious trouble since.
-
- I just started subscribing to Muscle Media 2000 (it's been getting more than
- it's share of mentions on the group, along with a couple of personal
- reccomendations.) and the Feb/March issue has a short article on the
- importance of Essential Fatty Acids in muscle-building. Co-incidently a few
- pages later there's what looks like a sponsored editorial comment
- (=advertisement) saying that the FDA has banned Primrose Oil (a good source
- of EFAs) but you can still get it from the NSA (what's that stand for?).
- I'm not altogether familiar with the system in the US so why has Primrose
- Oil been banned? All I've ever heard about it being used for, for years and
- years, was to ease period pain in women (doesn't do a thing for period pain
- in men apparently.) Is that how it's billed in the US? I read on the group a
- few months ago that amino acid tablets were going to get similar treatment.
- Did they? Just what else is the FDA after?
