- As a follow up to my earlier comments I checked the installation
- manual that came with my daystar concerning installation in a IIcx.
- The procedure is in the manual but does require removal of the
- original CPU and replacement of same with an adapter that
- accepts the Daystar board. The pictures are nice and they explain
- in great detail how to remove the CPU. However, a single sentence
- at the end of a paragraph points out that most CPUs are soldered to
- the board in the IIcx Mac. Thus the recommendation is made that you
- might want to let a service center do the intallation for you.
