  13. As a follow up to my earlier comments I checked the installation
  14. manual that came with my daystar concerning installation in a IIcx.
  15. The procedure is in the manual but does require removal of the
  16. original CPU and replacement of same with an adapter that
  17. accepts the Daystar board. The pictures are nice and they explain
  18. in great detail how to remove the CPU. However, a single sentence
  19. at the end of a paragraph points out that most CPUs are soldered to
  20. the board in the IIcx Mac. Thus the recommendation is made that you
  21. might want to let a service center do the intallation for you.
