  13. Thanks in advance for help. I have a 20MB IIcx running System 7.1
  14. Mode32, etc. There are (4) 4x8 70ns SIMMs installed in Bank A,
  15. and (4) 1x8 80 ns SIMMs in Bank B. I have 32bit addressing
  16. turned ON, and virtual memory turned OFF.

  18. Some of my applications (notably VersaTerm Pro 3.5) will crash the
  19. machine with a bus error if I launch them directly (nothing else but
  20. Finder in memory.) But if I launch a program that takes 16MB first,
  21. then run VersaTerm, it works fine.

  23. (I know I should upgrade VersaTerm Pro to latest version. It may be
  24. that I need to, to fix this problem. Is there any reason why the first
  25. 16MB should be different then the 4MB that follow?) - Gary
