  15. I have a seagate st251 hard drive and an 8 bit western digital
  16. control card.
  17. I was told this card will not work on an 80286 because it is 8 bit,
  18. is this true?
  19. I also get a post error when i have the drive and card plugged in,does
  20. this mean the card is bad?
  21. My computer acts like it can't see the drive,for example,when i type
  22. fdisk it says i need a hrd drive to sue that command.
  23. I have it configured in my bios and all also.
