- Well, I suppose. We use it on our desktop machines. That is we share it
- between several desktop machines. Since one only does backups once a week
- or so, it works well.

-
- I guess I don't have a lot of experience with "normal" backup units.
-
- My experience with it has been it gives about 1 Meg/min backup speed when
- writing information with verify on. And it gives about 3 Meg/min backup
- speed when reading from the tape.
-
- I feel the writes are slow. CP Backup writes to floppies faster.
- But the convinience is well worth it.
-
- We have been having some problems with our drive. I'm not sure if the
- drive is bad or what. But it doesn't seem to like it when we make a tape,
- move the tape backup to a different computer and try to read it back.
-
- Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. I'm suspecting that it's
- actually a problem with the computers printer port right now.
-
-
- Otherwise my supervisor has one of the older Microsolution backpack's
- hooked up to his 486/33 at home. He's never had a problem with it.
