  14. I am buying two 486's for a professor at my department and
  15. I have been reading through bunch of magazines to find out
  16. what is a good system, but of course my main concern is
  17. to find a company that is helpful in technical support, since
  18. in the future my prof. is going to deal with it...
  19.  
  20. Several questions I have:
  21. 1) Is Leading Edge D4DX2/50 a good system?
  22.    So far the price: $2400 
  23.    80486DX2 32-bit/50MHz, 8M ram
  24.    64K cache, 213M IDE hard drive, SVGA w/ .28 dot pitch, 1M video mem.

  26. 2) We want basically around 8M ram, about 150M hard drive, .28dot pitch
  27.    SVGA monitor...

  29. 3) Reading the posts on Gateway, I see some like it, some don't... Do
  30.    you think this a good buy? and how about their tech support?
