- I'm new to this game and thank everyone for the hints.
-
- I've noticed a few things that weren't explained too well in
- the manual.
-
- 1. Fish symbols out in the ocean. I understand that the symbols
- near land can be used by a city for food and trade. But what
- good are the ones out in the ocean?
-
- 2. City Radius. The manual says that the potential area of
- development is 2 square in every direction except diagonal.
- However it seems that if you build a road, then irrigate three
- squares out that you still get food. How about the diagonal,
- is it one square out? If you build a road, can you bring
- two squares out?
-
- 3. Scoring. They explain the points for happy citizens, wonders,
- etc. But how do they determine the percentage score? Is it
- effected by the "level", i.e. chieftain would get less percentage
- score?
