-
- A slightly different (albeit immodest) way to phrase the question would
- be "when is everyone going to make an X Window Manager as cool as the
- DESQview/X Window Manager?" Mark and Transfer is not broken under mwm
- (since it's never been made a part of it), and thus is not likely to be
- fixed. Our mwm is the same as the original, simply recompiled to work
- on a DOS/DESQview/X platform. The issue here is that the window manager
- would have to be able to read the text contents of a window and send
- those contents to another as synthetic events, something which WM's
- don't typically do. Perhaps X Clipboard and the ICCM will help in
- bringing this sort of feature to other window managers. Meanwhile, the
- best workaround is to use DWM.
