- Well, on IRIX from Silicon Graphics (not exactly a company known for its
- database prowess ..) there is an ISAM library that comes with the fortran
- compiler. Admittedly you have to look for it, the first I noticed of it
- was the recommendation to add -noisam to the fortran compile statement
- to reduce the size of compiled programs - shows you the vast market for
- isam.
