  12.     A couple of questions and comments.
  13. First: what is the current time delay between ordering a system
  14. and the shipping date?  And please, I'd like a realistic answer,
  15. not the standard "Oh, 2 weeks, no problem."  If it is going to 
  16. take over a month, fine, as long as I know in advance.

  18.     What is the current vide card that is ACTUALLY shipping?
  19. I know for a while you folks were advertising one, but needing to
  20. ship another due to availability problems.  Is the loca bus video
  21. card shipping and is it in fact any faster than the Diamond 24X?
  22. If not, can I order the 24X instead?

  24.     Any clue (since I've not heard elsewhere) when/if the 
  25. P24T chip will ship for upgrading?

  27.     Finally, I'm thinking of ordering a machine with 8 Meg
  28. of RAM (instead of the 16 Meg package).  However, I want to be able
  29. upgrade the machine to the full amount someday (64 Meg I believe).
  30. Will I be able to do this without throwing out the original 8 Meg
  31. of RAM?

  33.     The machine I'm looking to order is the Package #3:
  34. 486DX2-66 with 8 Meg of RAM, 200+ Meg hard drive, dual floppies,
  35. in a vertical case and with either the 128K or 256K RAM cache.

  37.     Any comments from either ZEOS or from people on the net?
  38. Do you have a similar machine? HOw's it been so far.
  39.     I have installed a similar machine as a network server
  40. for a customer, but since this is going to be MY machine for at
  41. least several years (3-4) I want to get the most bang for the buck.
  42. My current machine is a ZEOS 286-12 with 4 meg of RAM (upgraded
  43. from 1) and 2 40 meg drives (upgraded) from 1.  Other than having
  44. to replace the power supply, this sucker had run great.  However,
  45. it just can't seem to cope with my demands anymore. :-(  But,
  46. it will continue to live on... just not as my primary machine.
  47. It is the reason I attest to ZEOS products though.
