- Mary - thanks for your comments. Spolier alert for anyone on the list
- (save this, go see the movie, then come back to this :) :).

- Hope this is enough.
-
- I'm not surprised that critics hated the ending. I think if this was
- a typical hollywood ending, it would have been a more cynical ending.
- The kid would have still been a cripple, and there would be no such
- thing as the "Genuine article" as Steve puts it. I liked the ending
- a charltan who can't compete with the real thing skips town. The
- other ending they could have come up with is Steve "converting".
-
- Yes, I thought Steve was great, but I bet since, they don't know what
- to think of this movie and religion makes people uncomfortable, that
- he will get by passed. (For shame).
-
- Debra and Liam were great. Liam could use a few more roles like this.
- It was also nice to see "Meat Loaf" again, in the minor role as driver,
- keyboardist.
-
- Also, for those who says it attacks religion either did not see the movie
- or did not see the same movie we saw. Yes, there are con men who use
- "name of the Lord" for a quick buck. But I don't think that it implies
- that all tent preachers are con men. Thats generalizing, which gets
- folks into all sorts of trouble :) :)
-
- Looking forward to more comments on this movie.
