  17. Carol, I really enjoyed this film, too. I thought it was Martin's best work
  18. to date, his most demanding role in terms of emotional range, etc. Some
  19. critics criticized the ending but I thought it fit the movie and the character.
  20. I'd love to discuss in more detail but don't wan't to spoil for others. I
  21. will say that the soundtrack is terrific, both the gospel songs and the score.
  22. I also thought Debra Winger and Liam Neeson were very good in the supporting
  23. cast. A thought-provoking, funny but serious film about faith (despite what
  24. people like Michael Medved and the other fellow on Sneak Previews had to say
  25. -- they despised the film, called it "a bomb" and an attack on religion).
  26. Too bad it's not doing well at the box-office. I think it is Martin's break-
  27. through role, he deserves to be nominated for his performance as much as
  28. Robin Williams did for GOOD MORNING ,VIETNAM. Any other comments?
