- the same thing happened to us at Whip and dip... but! we got there on
- time... started shoveling it out and had a guy run to a pay phone and
- call out more skaters... with in 10minutes a bunch of skaters we heaving
- out the wet concrete.. hehe they've not tried it again... although
- everyone has vowed never to paint the walls... (the city comes in
- and uses this thick white paint that is very slick) the ditch is
- worth keeping... although once side is getting rougher than the
- other (in the transition) and the 'channel' is starting to crack
- from the ground shifting... but the curbs are old and very
- heavily waxed and grindible... Whip and DIp got its name years ago
- from the ice cream store with the same name that was across the
- street...
