  15.  The 409 is a heavy pig.  The chamber shape sucks.  No aftermarket
  16. manifolds are available, though you might get Isky to grind you a cam.
  17. It will not bolt up to your transmission.  You will have to fabricate
  18. mounts.

  20.  Since you already have Pontiac motor mounts and transmission, why not
  21. swap in a 400 Pontiac?  They're dirt cheap, come standard with screw in
  22. studs, guide plates, and windage tray, and you can get parts practically
  23. anywhere.
