- The gaskets are different, as the fluids are different. This doesn't work

- What appears to happen in the master cylinder is that the "cup" that the
- brake pedal presses on (and in turn presses against the fluid in the bore in
- the master cylinder) either has worn, has hardened, or has a slight tear.

- Pressing quickly causes the cup to flare and seal, either within the tear or
- against the bore wall. Pressing slowly prevents this, and the fluid leaks
- past the cup. The brake system (likely fore-and-aft) detects the imbalance
- in pressure, and trips the light.

- DON'T TRY TO FIX THIS ON THE CHEAP. You'd probably take the health of your
- brakes a lot more seriously if you ever tried to stop the car without 'em.
- Replace the master cylinder, or rebuild it, and be done with it.
