  13.     Since I've embarked on the writing of a novel, I've discovered how
  14.     deficient I am in applying proper grammar and punctuation to my
  15.     work.  I have a college grammar text, ( you know the one that we
  16.     all had to get for our freshman English classes ) but it doesn't
  17.     give much guidance on grammar rules and punctuation for dialog.

  19.     Can anyone recommend a good guide to style, grammar, and punctua-
  20.     tion for a novice fiction writer?  One the included insights into
  21.     the use of things such tense and voice, in the context of enhancing
  22.     one's storytelling, would be most helpful.
