- Since I've embarked on the writing of a novel, I've discovered how
- deficient I am in applying proper grammar and punctuation to my
- work. I have a college grammar text, ( you know the one that we
- all had to get for our freshman English classes ) but it doesn't
- give much guidance on grammar rules and punctuation for dialog.
-
- Can anyone recommend a good guide to style, grammar, and punctua-
- tion for a novice fiction writer? One the included insights into
- the use of things such tense and voice, in the context of enhancing
- one's storytelling, would be most helpful.
