- You have to get a driver from your local DTC dealer, then install
- onto a machine with a SCO-supported adapter, install DTC's driver
- and build a new kernel, use this to create a new installation
- floppy and _then_ install onto your target machine.
-
- However, don't bother. The performance is ABBYSMAL (if not worse),
- and you'll find the whole machine will die whenever there is a disk
- access. Rather blow the extra few $$ and buy an Adaptec. SCO support
- them out the box, which makes installation a doddle, and they _fly_
- compared to DTC's junk.
-
- DTC _do_ make good MFM, RLL and ESDI controllers, though, like WD.
- Like WD, their SCSI is an absolute waste of time (as I found out the
- hard way :-().
