- The Tandy 6000 is based on the Motorola 68000 chip and runs a Tandy
- developed version of Microsoft Xenix. The latest version was 3.? and
- (IMHO) was a pretty decent system for its day. All the normal *nix tools
- were available for it, uucp, cc, etc..
- Yes, it is old. No, it is not useless. We still have a handful of
- clients using them and they've got no complaints. There is still software
- available for it, from a clearinghouse in Texas. Tandy still supports the
- hardware.
