- I think that's the old way (prior to 2.0) fonts were
- installed. The newer idea is for everything about a font to
- be in a directory called <fontname>.font (the outlines, the
- afm files, the bitmap files). I noticed that buildafmdir
- does not update the separate directories. I thereupon
- deleted the three directories, to no ill effect.
