  14. Is anyone in a position to compare the Hayes Optima 144 with the ZyTEL
  15. U-1496?  Has any one used the Hayes Optima 144?  With SLIP?  I'm thinking
  16. about replacing my 9600 baud modem and I'd like to get something that is
  17. capable of many features not implemented yet by the University of Arizona
  18. (V.42/V.42bis, MNP 5 error-correction & compression, etc.) Fax ability would
  19. be nice; but not necessary.  I've seen some nice comments about the ZyTEL.
  20. How does it compare, etc.?
