  13. Well I have had the unluckiest purchase in my life ... so far.

  15. The drive doesn't respond to the 'sense' command... but I wonder if that
  16. could be fixed. If a noce soul could send me the output of :

  20. I would be much obliged. The 'sense' command comes with the 'scsitools'
  21. found on sonatta in the UPLOADS.

  23.     The error I get is rather disarming :

  25.     sense key: 0x4 additional sense code: 0x4c
  26.     SCSI Block in erro = 0 (no valid label)
  27.     Read Capacity command failed
  28.     sr_io_status=2; check status, sr_sense_valid
  29.     SCSI status = 02H

  33. I booted in single user mode to play around ... but nothing. I finally
  34. gave up and tried on a MAC... sam news ... no format capacity.

  36.     Can anyone help ? If so ... please, I'm already in the process
  37.     of getting an RMA number for it to ship back ... but would love
  38.     to just "Fix it!".
