- How about sticking with the pictographic way of doing things? Choose symbols
- that *look* like the characters instead of using symbols that involve the keys
- you press? i.e., \d for delta, \= for the US opt-x, \* for bullet, \B for the
- german double-s.. Of course, this is bound to break down somewhere. It will
- depend on whether you prefer digraphs or trigraphs or something like that..
