- Hi y'all, Ira here.
- This a great newsgroup! I have posted here and got lots of really helpful help
- on my first mac programming attempt. I wanted to thank those people who mailed
- me. You were all very helpful. I however have run into a snag on my Pizza
- Selector program that I can't figure out. I am running system 7.0 on a Mac
- plus and until recently Think Pascal 2.06. That version will run my program
- and it seems to work fine. When I try to create an application I get one but
- it bombs with an address error or an illegal instruction bomb dialog. I am
- curious about getting debugger programs, (where) and how to remedy the problem.
- I figured that getting a newer version of the pascal might help. Just to be
- certain I tried compiling my code with a new project at my computing center
- with their new version 4.0 of Think Pascal. It had trouble building the code
- crashed at times and wouldn't ever run. I know I set the resource up right and
- all the code compiled ok. It just wouldn't run at all. Building applications
- crashed the machine and all in all attempts were very frusterating. So I have
- two situations here.
- 1. Version 2.06 TP runs within think pascal but won't build apps.
- 2. Version 4.0 TP builds but won't run and apps are out of the
- question.
- I am kind of at a loss having worked on this problem for a couple of days. I
- know its kind of vague but any help I could would be great. Some info on
- debuggers and a direction to look in would be wonderfully helpful.
-
- Thanks again for all the kind support I have received. :)

- End of line.
