- Anthony,
-
- Sure you can right justify the result of your calculation. Just select the
- field and set the justification for align right.
-
- However, one of the limitations of FileMaker is that you do lose all
- formatting in text fields when you concatenate them using a calcuation field.
- You can, of course, format the result, but this will effect the entire field.
-
- The only hack that I'm aware of to this problem is to create a custom font
- that has bold characters as option characters, italic characters as option
- italic, etc. Then when you format the field with this custom font you will
- have the formatting you desire.
-
- If anyone knows of an easier way with FM Pro 2.0 please cc me on it, but to
- the best of my knowledge, FM Pro 2.0 only allows you to copy the results of a
- calcuation field, not adjust the formatting character by character.
