- Alright, I feel like this is a simple problem, but I'm not sure why it is
- occurring. When printing pages of records which are viewed as lists,
- each of which is about two lines long, FMP doesn't seem to be checking
- where the bottom of the page is, and consequently prints records which
- fall into the bottom page margin, and thus get chopped off.
-
- If it makes a difference, I'm using the NEC SilentWriter 95.
-
- In fact, it makes no difference. Unfortunately, this is a problem inherent
- with the way that FileMaker prints. It is the user's responsibility to keep
- the layouts set in such a way that no fields can overlap the page break
- boundary. One suggestion would be to set a footer to a small amount and
- tweak it until you get what you want. I know, sounds, silly, but if you
- don't like it and you're a registered customer, please do send in a
- suggestion. It's the only way that Technical Support and Customer Relations
- have of creating leverage to fix problems that we see that haven't been
- fixed yet.
-
- If you want, send it in to my attention, from the address in your manual.
