- I've go a quick question for any gurus out there on SCSI & IDE.
-
- I picked up a Seagate 1480N 500meg SCSI and currently have a
- Maxtor 130meg IDE in my system. I have been looking at the
- Always IN2000 16bit controller and the Adaptec 1522 16 bit to
- run the SCSI drive.
-
- Two questions, Can I run IDE and SCSI drive on the same system, or
- will I have to lose one?
-
- Also if they are compatible which controller do you
- recommend?
-
- Here are my system specs: 386-40DX, 4meg ram, currently 130meg IDE,
- AMI BIOS
-
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
