- No, but there may be other compatibility problems. For example, 4Mb chips
- have different refresh requirements than 1Mb chips so a machine that can't
- refresh 4Mb chips correctly won't work with 3-chip 1Mx9 SIMMs. Generally
- speaking, most machines shouldn't have any problem with 3-chip 256Kbx9
- SIMMs and any machine that supports 4Mbx9 SIMMs should work with 3-chip
- 1Mbx9 SIMMs (although you may have to disable hidden refresh). I don't
- think 3-chip 4Mbx9 SIMMs exist yet.
