  11. Matrox have been making high end (read expensive) video cards for
  12. quite a while, and have a very good reputation among the people I
  13. know who do broadcast quality animation.

  15. The 1024 is a newer, less powerfull card oriented more towards the
  16. general consumer (if I understand their press release properly). I
  17. don't know anyone who has used this card and would be very interested
  18. in hearing any first-hand reports. I'm especially interested in how
  19. stable the windows drivers are, and how well the card gets along with
  20. other cards (ie. sound cards, scanner interfaces).
