- Hello.
-
- I have a motherboard with 1 VL-Bus slot.
-
- It currently does not have a card in it.
-
- I plan on putting a video card in it...sometime...
-
- Anyways, my question is:
-
- Can a busmastering SCSI controller (Adaptec) and a busmastering VL-Bus card
- be used with 0 problems?
-
- Oh yeah, the motherboard is ISA.
-
- I currently have a 16-bit Tseng ET4000 & a 16-bit IDE controller.
-
- I was looking at purchasing an Adaptec or Ultrastor busmastering SCSI-II
- controller.
-
- I know that an ISA system will crash if two cards try to "busmaster" at
- the same time...I don't know if it will crash if one card is ISA and the
- other is VL-Bus.
-
- Thanks.
