- Well, I don't know about the Infotel 14.4 modem, But I bought a Zoom
- 14.4 external, and it does not come with the 16550 UART chip. I had
- to buy that separately and put in onto a socketed serial card. I
- doubt the Intel comes with one either. If you do buy one seperately
- make sure its the 16550 afn. Its the latest model and is apparently
- far supperior.
