- I have been looking at an IBM Value Point 486SX with OS/2, and the IBM
- 6319 Value Point monitor. Despite the advertising copy, what I see is
- a fuzzy screen of about the same quality as any no-name monitor of
- half the price. The man at the computer store on campus says that the
- reason for the poor quality is that IBM doesn't supply proper drivers
- for its own monitor, that possibly one can get better quality by
- buying a new video card. This sounds astonishing to me. Is it possible
- that IBM would put out a new system which is not capable of driving
- its own monitor, or could there be some other explanation?--
