  10. I have a 42 Meg MFM/RLL disk (NEC D5146H) which has gone bad and I've been
  11. searching for a replacement. I've found a few new drives but most are
  12. refurbished. I can also have my current drive repaired. Does anyone have
  13. good/bad experiences with refurbished/repaired disks?

  15. I'm new to the work of PC hardware. Can I replace the 42 Meg MFM/RLL drive
  16. with a 20 Meg drive? Are the connections on different manufacturer's drives
  17. the same (i.e will the cables to my NEC D5146H fit on a Seagate 251 for
  18. instance?)
