- I have a 42 Meg MFM/RLL disk (NEC D5146H) which has gone bad and I've been
- searching for a replacement. I've found a few new drives but most are
- refurbished. I can also have my current drive repaired. Does anyone have
- good/bad experiences with refurbished/repaired disks?

- I'm new to the work of PC hardware. Can I replace the 42 Meg MFM/RLL drive
- with a 20 Meg drive? Are the connections on different manufacturer's drives
- the same (i.e will the cables to my NEC D5146H fit on a Seagate 251 for
- instance?)
