- Bob, where did I write the words "shut up" in that posting, or any other
- posting with reference to the people at Atari Corporation?
-
- There is a difference between being impolite to a businessman and telling him
- that a meeting is obviously going to be unproductive as you're walking out.
- I have done that particular bit, though not with Atari Corporation ... and
- thus I am qualified to say what I would do in similar situations.
-
- There is a difference between being controlled by a businessman at a meeting
- and controlling that meeting. I prefer to set up an agenda and agree on the
- people who will be present before I commit my time, energy, and money to
- attending a meeting to demonstrate software (or hardware). It makes good
- business sense, and should be applicable whether the business is a medical
- education software house or Atari Corporation (or MicroSoft).
-
- If you're not partially in control of the particulars, you have no control over
- the meeting.
-
- One doesn't have to deal with Atari Corporation to know how one would react in
- a given situation. Your argument is without merit, and your attempted
- redefinition of my position is rejected.
