  13. I had a Chemistry/Physics instructor back (way back!) in high school that
  14. gave a different (and interesting) conversion:

  16.   F = (C + 40) / 1.8 - 40
  17.   C = (F + 40) * 1.8 - 40
  18.  
  19. The only diff between the two conversions is either multiplying or dividing
  20. the 1.8.
