- Hi, again!
-
- I found a file called cmprsdsk.lha on wuarchive in systems/amiga/incoming.
- yesterday and it looks really good for getting extra space on my tight little
- 30 mb drive..(I'm running at 2.5 mb free on any given day! :<)
-
- It creates some sort of "virtual disk" that one can "format" and store
- everything in compressed form and then it decompresses the file when you
- want to use it. Sounds like a dream!
-
- Is it too good to be true? Does it work? How "safe" (stable) is it?
-
- Not being a programmer, the readme sounds a bit spooky and I'd like to
- hear from some folks who have used it successfully before I make an
- attempt to do something that I know virtually nothing about.
-
- (Actually, if you've used it UNsuccessfully, I'd like to know that, too.
- Maybe we can learn from your mistakes? :>)
-
- Please post to the net - I'm sure others would like to know about this one,
- and my mailbox is overflowing as it is! :<
-
- Thanks in Advance!
