- I just installed WB2.1 on my A3000. Hey I like most of the new stuff,
- like the new Format and Commodities Exchange.... but I've noticed a
- problem here: If I move the PC0: (CrossDOS) icon into Devs/DOSDrivers
- (so it gets mounted automatically upon startup), whenever I put an
- AmigaDOS disk in the drive, I get two icons, one with the AmigaDOS name
- and one named "PC0:????". This is really annoying. I know that
- CrossDOS always has put a "DF0:????" icon up if you insert an Ms-DOS
- disk (although I was hoping that Commodore would have 'fixed' that),
- but now the reverse is also true... boo hiss. And here's the
- really weird part: if I *DO NOT* auto-mount PC0: at startup, but
- instead leave the icon in the Storage drawer and run it manually,
- it *does not* do this (put up "PC0:????" when an Amiga disk is in).
-
- ((Cue Twilight Zone theme... "you have entered another dimension...
- the CROSSDOSZONE... doodoo doo doo doodooo doo doo..."))
-
-
- * And one other thing I just noticed: Why was "RexxMast" removed
- from the Startup-sequence? I couldn't figure out why my ARexx stuff
- wasn't working until I noticed this. So I put it back in myself. Was
- there a reason to take it out?
