-
- The SP "README" mentions the Welcome folder in two places. In the
- first one, it makes it clear that this folder is *ONLY* available on
- IBM computers with OS/2 preinstalled. The second time this folder is
- mentioned, however, this isn't made clear.
-
- : Anyone know why, or what I can do otherwise to change resolution?
-
- Instead, go to "System-> System Setup-> Selective Install", and change
- your video adapter to "Super VGA". If it's already "Super VGA", select
- the "Primary Video Adapter" check box anyway, and *reselect* "Super
- VGA.
-
- You'll be prompted to insert all the diskettes from number 6 to 15
- from the *original* OS/2 distribution: a few fonts will be installed.
- Then, you'll be asked to select the desired resolution. Finally,
- you'll have to insert the two Service Pack Display Driver diskettes.
- At this point, you *do not* have to reinstall the Service Pack. If
- you do any *other* selective install, however (including new printer
- drivers), you must reinstall the Service Pack.
-
- Good luck!
