- I like and am using RexxTerm by Charles Daney of Quercus Systems.
-
- It is a non-windowing comm program but it has a lot of nice features.
- Line, vt100, block, vt52, ansi-bbs, and Vidtex emulation support,
- a dialing directory , xmodem, -1k, ymodem, -g, zmodem, kermit and
- Compuserve-B file transfer capabilities.
-
- BUT the best feature of all is that it uses REXX for its scripting-
- control macro language. You can control a complete terminal session
- through status checking return codes from start to finish
- (provided you can anticipate every point of error and write a recovery
- subroutine.) It uses IBM's OS/2 Rexx or Quercus own Personal/Rexx
- which includes a lot of extra function(s).
-
- Like Personal/Rexx, I think you get both dos and os/2 versions if you
- pay the extra 20-30 dollars for the os/2 version.
-
- Charles sends me new versions to test before he releases them.
