- I just installed a new Panasonic KX-2124 printer on my system. Of course,
- OS/2 doesn't have specific drivers, but I installed the 1124i drivers, Epson
- LQ-850, and IBM Proprinter X24E drivers ( the two modes supported by my
- printer). I did the same thing in regular Windows 3.1. I created a test
- file that had several type faces and sizes in AmiPro 3.0. I had ATM
- running and when I printed the file from Windows, the output was very
- impressive. I started up WinOS2 and Ami and printed the same file using
- the 1124i driver in OS2 and the output looked like crap. Even the screen
- didn't look as good. I did have ATM running, but it looked like it wasn't
- working. This is on a fresh install of the GA OS2 2.0. Does anyone have any
- suggestions? I would like to solve this before I reinstall the CSD. Can I
- use Windows printer drivers in WinOS2 and/or as the OS2 driver. I think
- that Panasonic has KX-2124 Windows drivers, but not OS2 drivers.
-
- Thanks, Chris
