- I read the FAQ, and it peaked my curiosity. I'd love to run OS/2 on my
- machine, but I've got concerns about performance. Specifically:
-
- My machine is a 386sx/16 with 6 megs of RAM, a ST251-1 and a ST225 HD,
- 1-1 Interleave MFM controller, ATI VGAWonderXL
-
- So, what kind of performance/lack thereof can I expect? I'd probably
- end up installing to the ST251-1 for speed reasons (the 225 is dog slow).
- I read that 6 megs is scraping bottom for ram amounts (8-12 is good, I hear).
- I assume my video is up to the requirements, so that's not a concern.
-
- Please email comments, I'll summarise if there's enough interest.
- Jim
