- Hello,
-
- At the local hardware dealer I was told that the Cirrus Windows Accelerator
- card was a good option if running OS/2. I have tried the card. It works OK,
- but the only problem I have experienced is that the actual windows size is
- smaller running (graphic mode) 800x600 than 640x480. In text mode there is
- no difference in window size. In graphics mode (800x600) there is an edge
- all around the screen - about 1 centimeter. Can anyone outthere tell me if
- I should invest in this card. Is the Cirrus a well-known product. I have
- noticed that it is very easy to get for example TSeng drivers on ftp-sites.
- I haven't found any for the Cirrus. Does this mean that I souldn't buy
- this card?
-
- If you think that this card 'sucks' please tell me which card I should
- consider instead.
-
- Thanks in advance
-
- Please (also) email me.
