- I'm very curious about something, and I wonder if someone out there
- would like to try it.
-
- Those new Trident 32-bit drivers (available via anonymous ftp from
- ftp-os2.nmsu.edu), which look to me like "leaked" code (since the
- drivers aren't available from the Trident BBS) look awfully like the
- so-called "generic" SuperVGA drivers (especially if you read the
- documentation accompanying the seamless Windows materials.
-
- Has anyone tried these with, say, Tseng 4000 adapters (not that
- exciting, granted, with the Service Pak drivers out now), Video
- 7/Headland VRAM, Paradise, or ATI (i.e. the ones supported by
- BVHSVGA.DLL)?
-
- For the record, the new drivers (640x480 256 colors, specifically) do
- not appear to work with my Trident 8900C 512K adapter. (The SVGA ON
- DOS step generates very limited information on the modes available --
- it doesn't list any 256 color modes, for example. It probably thinks
- I have a 256K adapter.)
