  10. many months ago I grabbed a drop-on add-on for xcomm called
  11. xc2 (as I recall) from a site in Australia.  It included precompiled
  12. rz/sz binaries with debugging info off, but it showed the progress of
  13. the file transfer on the screen as the transfer progressed...

  15. can anybody point me to where that puppy is (assuming it'll work
  16. with the new kernels) and/or how to get the readily available rz/sz sources
  17. to output the progress they're making.  It's unsettling to transfer a few
  18. MB of SLS and have everything sit there for many minutes/hours with no
  19. feedback on the screen regarding how the transfers are progressing.
